The Setup/Take Down Associate assists the setup team leader with the setup, take down and loading/unloading of vehicles. This position requires high energy individual with a good eye for detail. This position is great for a physically active person. Responsible to complete tasks with time constraints adhered to while creating the contracted décor with excellence. Must be flexible with schedule as some popup events and unknow interruptions do happen.

Job Responsibilities: Fulfill tasks insuring all items needed for setup are loaded. organized with proper labeling for quick load in/out on site Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner at the warehouse and on-site Fully read every portion of the event fulfillment task list, inform supervisor if needing clarity or instruction. Ensure all items are packaged back up during take down to safely arrive back to the warehouse Maintain integrity of inventory by placing goods in crates, on racks, shelves or bins according to grouping (lighting, chandeliers, florals, vases, etc.) Troubleshooting of equipment before departure (ex: making sure things are fully charged, work and looks good before packing items) Deliver and pickup of equipment and materials Check off the task you have completed so supervisor can check all finished fulfillment items.
Job Requirements: Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a professional manor with all coworkers staff on site. Effective time management, problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication Must be able to lift 75lbs or more Have a positive disposition Must be able to work quickly and efficiently under time constraints. Basic cleaning and maintenance of work spaces (cleaning, sweeping, snow removal, trash, etc.) Must be comfortable on ladders (ladder safety training a plus) Reliable transportation required Working weekends based on event schedule Previous experience in the special events industry is a plus Previous experience in a warehouse is a plus
